A good way to understand something
is to un-assemble it.

This drinking glass aims to introduce the "air gap insulation" principle to its user.
By assembling the glass, the sealer and the housing components, the user re-creates the insulation principle of an isotherm bottle.
I like products visually understandable, that we can learn from.

The final glass shape was made using existing pipes, bars and sheets, heated and modelled together. The shape was rounder than originally designed, however thanks to its roundness I discovered that the glass bulge was very comfortable the bottom lip.

A good lesson to remember that we use objects with more than just our hands, here, we also use it with our lips.
