Lop started with the idea of “something floating into something”.
Step by step it evolved into “a sphere floating within layers”.
Once turned on, the reflections of the sphere on the acrylic layers appear.
Reminiscing of a trail after images of a sphere in motion.
The sphere is static, but its plural reflections bring movement.

O lamp, a graphical silhouette.
Catching eyes by its size, disappearing with its curve.
O can be used facing the room to enjoy its full brightness,
or facing the wall creating a perfect round halo reflecting onto the wall.
Its thinness allows O the fit behind a couch, partially behind a furniture, for a playfull hide & seek light.

Experimenting with water hyacinth weaved baskets.
The baskets were over-scaled, their wide opening let the weaving craft visible.
The outside was painted, while the inside was kept natural.
The colored glass tops bring color into the void of the basket.
The different surrounding light will color the natural tint of the water hyacinth.

Pencil holder and book end are very versatile stationnary.
The pencil holder can be considered as a recipient for anything.
The book end can be used in multiple orientations.

Every furniture elements are low, with similar heights.
So they can be used as tables or seats.

Carvena is a contemporary floor lamp composed of a handcraft bamboo birdcage mounted on top of a sturdy wooden pillar.
Which seamlessly extends to a linen inner shade, giving a soft and diffused light.
Carvena’s strong identity comes from its silhouette: a calming image of a rounded birdcage perching atop a tree, in peaceful stillness.
